Autonomous Truck Safety Driver (9 month contract)

*6 month contract with possibility of extension* Akkar is working with a leading software scale-up developing technology for self-driving vehicles. They are searching for a Safety Driver to lead the vehicle testing and implementation of their autonomous driving technology. Locations - Rotterdam (or nearby) Responsibilities Driving testing vehicles safely during autonomous driving and other testing Operate autonomous system during testing as instructed by systems engineers, setting up the system for remote support and reporting test results during and after testing Investigate in-field autonomous driving kit system issues Traveling to customers and own testing areas as required Requirements Driving license category CE Good English language skills Basic Computer Literacy EU work authorization Nice to have Vehicle testing experience preferably with ADAS or AD systems Knowledge of software programming
