Conveyancing Legal Assistant Location: Solihull, West Midlands Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time | Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm | Office-based Are you an experienced Legal Assistant with a solid background in residential conveyancing? Do you enjoy working in a supportive, fast-paced environment where your reliability and attention to detail truly make a difference? Our client is a well-established law firm with a growing branch in Solihull, West Midlands, seeking a capable and proactive Legal Assistant to support our Conveyancing Solicitors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior conveyancing experience to grow within a collaborative and professional team. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct support to conveyancing solicitors on a wide range of residential property transactions Draft legal documents including contracts, client letters and completion statements Order and review land registry searches, property titles and other relevant documentation Manage case files from initial instruction to post-completion using our case management system (training provided) Perform general administrative duties such as preparing SDLT forms, ID checks and file organisation Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties throughout the transaction process Ensure accurate and timely updates to clients and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements What our client Offers: Competitive salary depending on experience (£25,000 – £30,000) 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Annual performance-related bonus Additional bonus incentives Free on-site parking Structured training on internal systems and ongoing professional development A collaborative, friendly office culture that values support, growth and reliability About You: Minimum 2 years’ experience as a legal assistant or conveyancing assistant in residential property law Thorough understanding of conveyancing processes from instruction to post-completion Confident in drafting legal documents, managing case files and liaising with clients Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable and proactive, with excellent communication skills Fully office-based role – candidates must be available to work on-site Monday to Friday Ambitious and eager to progress within a reputable legal practice If you’re ready to take the next step in your legal career and join a team that genuinely supports your growth and contributions, we’d love to hear from you.
