Senior Food Technologist (FTC 9-12 months)

Alexander Steele are delighted to continue to work in partnership with a foods business who supply high quality products to and operate in the Foodservice,Food Manufacturing, Wholesale & Retail market channels. A rare opportunity has arisen in their Technical function for a talented Senior Food Technologist on a 9-12 month FTC to join their team in London. On Offer: • A salary of £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience bonus ( pro rata ) • Enhanced pension • Hybrid - 2 days a week from home if you wish! • Working Monday to Friday (normal office hours) • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata ) The role: As Senior Food Technologist you will report in to and support the Technical Manager with the delivery of technical requirements within the business. You will work with internal stakeholders (NPD, procurement, commercial, supply chain and operations) as well as working with suppliers and customers. The candidate: • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar Technical role within food manufacturing • Hold a degree in Food Science or the equivalent experience • Good knowledge of the food industry and UK food legislation is essential • HACCP level 3 or above • A motivated individual who can work well under pressure, and has strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
