I am on the hunt for an Estimator who thrives in the world of listed facades, elegant refurbishments, private homes and university refurbishments. Tender values here range from £100k to £15m and could be anything from a Georgian restoration to a chapel conversion. The Estimator will turn budgets into realistic estimates, spotting risks and feeding into successful commercial bids. As the “go to” number cruncher for tenders, you will play a key role in developing the projects our client takes on and how they structure them. You will fit in very well here if you enjoy collaborating with bid teams to balance cost, ambition and quality. You will also require a bit of edge – you will be hands on, warm and a strong advocate for working collaboratively as part of a team.
