Quantity Surveyor

Role: Quantity Surveyor Location: Plymouth-based, with travel across the South West (Hybrid Working) Salary: £52,000 Company Car/Car Allowance Benefits Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday (Permanent) Are you a driven Quantity Surveyor looking to make a real impact on exciting construction and refurbishment projects across the South West? The Opportunity Were looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support our busy Projects Team across multiple sites in the South West. Based in Plymouth, youll work in a hybrid capacity with regular travel as needed. Your key responsibilities will include: Estimating project costs, quantities, and timelines Providing commercial and business support to the Projects Team Building strong relationships with internal teams and external clients Preparing project reports, managing documentation, and monitoring milestones Offering cost advice to the Billable Works Team Supporting senior leadership with progress reporting, attending risk meetings, and driving improvements Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Sustainability, and Quality requirements What Youll Need HND/Foundation Degree in Quantity Surveying Relevant experience in construction or commercial property maintenance Strong background in cost modelling, risk analysis, tenders, and dispute resolution Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (typically 34 at once) Full UK driving licence Eligibility to obtain SC Clearance (due to the nature of the work) This role is ideal for an experienced QS or a capable Assistant QS ready to step up into a more senior position.
