Employment - Associate General Counsel A global financial services firm is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join its legal team as Associate General Counsel (Senior Vice President level). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, international, and highly collaborative environment. The role involves advising across the EMEA and APAC regions, with a strong focus on employment law matters in a regulated setting. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting senior management and HR functions on a wide range of employment legal issues across multiple jurisdictions, including: Advising on day-to-day employment matters, including regulatory remuneration and benefits, dispute resolution, performance management, and preventative HR strategies. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and procedures. Managing employment litigation and pre-action matters. Supporting on complex hires, exits, and investigations. Advising on employee privacy and personal data issues. Delivering legal training and employment law updates to HR and business teams. Assisting with the development and implementation of employment law know-how and internal best practices. The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 15 years PQE within employment law A strong track record working in-house within financial services (preferably investment banking) and/or in private practice with a focus on financial institutions. Demonstrated experience advising on employment matters across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in EMEA and APAC . Expertise in UK employment law; familiarity with the application of regulatory remuneration frameworks
