Job Title: Contentious Employment Associate Location: Bristol Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience About Our Client: Our client is a leading firm within the insurance sector, recognised for their robust team handling a diverse array of claims against professionals and businesses. Responsibilities: As a Contentious Employment Associate, you will: Manage a caseload of EPL claims, representing leading Professional Indemnity Insurers and their clients. Provide insightful advice to insurers on policy coverage related to claims. Deliver high-quality, timely legal outputs ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to service level agreements. Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes and support initiatives. Engage in business development activities and client initiatives, enhancing relationships with clients. Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Circa 1-4 years of PQE, with a background in managing EPL claims. Strong foundation in litigation; insurance experience is a plus. Solid understanding of employment law and tribunal procedures. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a commitment to financial hygiene. Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Experience working with professional services firms or large corporates. Ability to foster collaborative relationships to enhance client experiences. Enthusiasm for team development and a proactive approach to sharing knowledge. Technologies: Familiarity with case management systems and legal research tools is advantageous.
