Second Line IT Analyst

Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a skilled Second Line IT Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in Wimborne. Key Responsibilities: Providing second line IT support, managing and resolving incidents in a timely manner Monitoring system performance to ensure optimal operation and identifying areas for improvement Collaborating with first line support and other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery Assisting in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with established procedures Maintaining accurate documentation of issues and solutions Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service quality Job Requirements: Experience in an IT support role, with a particular focus on second line support Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software applications Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in using IT support software and tools Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Candidates will be required to go through a baseline security clearance check before starting.
