Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Location: Office-based near Warwick, with regular site visits across the Midlands Package: Upto £60,000 (all-in, depending on level of experience) Type: Full-time, Permanent Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a capable and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team delivering high-quality residential developments across the Midlands. This role is ideal for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up or an established Intermediate QS seeking new challenges in a fast-paced, design-led environment. Key Responsibilities: Take commercial ownership of residential development sites ranging from 100–300 units Procure subcontract packages and manage contracts through to final account Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the required quality standards Regularly visit sites to monitor progress and resolve commercial matters Work closely with internal departments including Technical, Land, and Construction Prepare cost reports, CVRs, valuations, and manage payment processes Support the Senior QS and Commercial Manager in strategic procurement and reporting Requirements: Experience working for a housebuilder or residential developer is essential Proven ability to commercially manage traditional build residential sites Strong understanding of procurement, cost control, and reporting processes Excellent negotiation and communication skills Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Midlands Desirable Experience: Experience with traditional build (no timber frame) Exposure to sites with a mix of houses and apartments Familiarity with developments of 100 units Confidence working on projects from pre-start to final account Why Join?
