Quantity Surveyor/ Senior QS Energy South Division

SQ level - £55-50k plus £4k car allowance Senior QS - Up to £73k plus £4-6K car allowance We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and strategic Quantity Surveyor to join our high-performing Energy South commercial team . This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capabilities, a meticulous eye for detail, and a passion for making informed, data-driven decisions. Youll play a key role in overseeing commercial performance, providing leadership within the team, and ensuring the successful financial delivery of our projects. Whats on offer: A flexible hybrid working arrangement Competitive salary and benefits Company car scheme or car allowance Opportunities to progress within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation You can choose to work at the following location: Brighton, Dartford, Langley or Esher In this role, youll be involved in: Managing subcontractor accounts and overseeing performance Supporting the Commercial Manager and providing oversight of the wider commercial team Addressing and resolving client disputes, as well as leading internal audits Maintaining and monitoring the commercial risk register Verifying measurements during weekly valuations to ensure accuracy Carrying out cost analysis and identifying opportunities for cost savings Reviewing contracts and analysing rates for competitiveness and compliance Producing detailed Cost Value Reports (CVRs) across all active projects We're looking for someone who: Brings extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor , with strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability Has a track record of compiling complex subcontract orders, ensuring effective risk allocation and supporting operational delivery Demonstrates exceptional commercial and communication skills , confidently engaging with clients and leading internal stakeholders Is invested in the development of their team, offering guidance and mentorship to junior staff Possesses a charismatic and influential communication style , with the ability to land key messages effectively Has advanced Excel skills and a data-driven mindset Holds a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or has significant relevant experience in a similar commercial role This role is available immediately.
