Job Description

An established and growing global private markets advisory firm is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join its London team. Operating across private equity, infrastructure, private credit, and sustainable investing, this organisation supports top-tier fund managers and institutional investors worldwide. This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially focused lawyer to work across high-profile international mandates. You’ll join a collaborative legal function working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. Expect a fast-paced, dynamic environment with significant exposure to cross-border transactions and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice across primary fundraising, secondary transactions, and GP advisory mandates Draft and negotiate NDAs, engagement letters, and marketing documentation Coordinate with external counsel and compliance on international marketing regulations Develop and maintain internal legal tracking systems, tools, and best practices Liaise with internal teams on regulatory sampling, audits, and investor testing Support internal investment structures and supplier contract reviews Contribute to business development initiatives and knowledge sharing across the firm Experience Required 2–6 years’ post-qualification experience in a private funds-related legal role (in-house or private practice) Solid understanding of fund structuring, private markets, or regulatory frameworks Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a high level of professionalism If it sounds like an interesting opportunity please apply to hear more!
