Hygiene Supervisor

Hygiene Supervisor Scantec Recruitment are working with a fantastic Food Manufacturing business in South Lanarkshire to recruit a Hygiene Supervisor for their site. Hours / Shifts: 07:00-19:00, 4on 4off Days only To be a success in this role, you will play a key role in providing first line leadership for Operational support teams to deliver the range of Operational and Operational support key performance indicators (KPI’s) on an hourly and shift basis. In your role you will be accountable for the daily operational support leadership and accountability aspect of your designated area / site. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe Hygiene compliance, GMP and care of Manufacturing Assets and Infrastructure resulting in the manufacture of quality products in a safe and organised working environment. Hygiene Supervisor - Summary of key responsibilities: Ensure all hygiene and operational support tasks are properly planned and executed safely. Organising and briefing staff on job allocations, risk assessments, and the correct use of PPE to ensure both scheduled and unscheduled hygiene and operational support tasks are completed effectively. Play an active role in internal audits and support external audits, including BRC. In addition, you’ll assist the Site Services and Facilities Manager in managing site facilities and contractors. Contribute to the review and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Deliver results against an agreed set of KPIs, monitored hourly and across shifts. These KPIs align with the overarching manufacturing strategy Required skills & experience: We're seeking a strong team player with excellent communication skills. Somebody with at least 2 years hygiene experience in food production. A good understanding of chemicals, ideally the successful candidate would be COSHH trained, but training can be arranged for the right candidate.
