Early Years Educator

The Blue Door Nursery is recruiting! We are looking for someone who has a genuine love of children, an excellent sense of humour, is ambitious and motivated and who works well both in a team and using their own initiative. Full time, 36 hours a week . It is not Term Time only although a Hybrid contract may be considered (36 hours term time, 18 hours school holidays). One early start (7.30/8am) and one later finish (6pm) would be required. * We are looking to recruit qualified staff (L2 up to QTS/EYT), we can support you to achieve further qualifications if that is what you would like to do and we will also help you learn and understand our work through in-house courses and training. Responsibilities Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote early childhood development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive environment. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Collaborate with team members to enhance nursery operations and uphold standards of excellence. Lead and mentor junior staff as needed, promoting a positive team dynamic.
