Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a contract assignment at a prestigious Ambulatory Surgery Center in Newark, Delaware. Job Function: Day Shift. 7:30am - 4pm. Ask patients about their health to assist in diagnosis and document symptoms and medical history for the physician. Identify changes in symptoms and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Administer medications, draw blood, and give vaccinations following established guidelines. Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, maintaining accurate records. Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license for the state of employment, or willingness to obtain one. 2 years of radiologic technologist experience required. BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
