Construction Demolition Estimator

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Demolition Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing accurate estimates for commercial and residential demolition projects. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and job sites to develop cost estimates and proposals that are competitive, profitable, and in line with company objectives. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for demolition projects including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential challenges. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather data and clarify details. Track and evaluate change orders and provide updated pricing as necessary. Participate in pre-bid meetings and client presentations. Maintain a database of pricing, vendors, and subcontractors. Ensure estimates comply with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable codes. Requirements: 3 years of estimating experience in demolition or related construction fields. Strong knowledge of demolition processes, building codes, and safety standards. Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with environmental abatement, structural demo, and site clearing. Familiarity with both public and private sector project bidding processes.
