This role involves providing comprehensive care for patients with medical, surgical, and telemetry needs within our Med/Surg Telemetry units. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, emphasizing medical, surgical, and telemetry monitoring. - Expertise in managing complex care for patients with various conditions, including gastrointestinal issues, cardiac conditions, renal issues, and altered mental status. - Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Monitor and analyze telemetry data to identify and respond to patient needs proactively. - Maintain a stable nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1 to ensure each patient receives individualized attention and care. - Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans and health management. Qualifications: - Current nursing license and certification in med/surg nursing preferred. - Strong foundational knowledge in telemetry monitoring and med/surg nursing practices. - Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
