Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,314 per week in Salisbury, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse I Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience, depending on the specialty License: Must have license in hand - no exceptions Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent specialty experience, proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase, and OASIS Description: Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders. Care is based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses. Degree of travel involves home visits and periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day that equate to roughly 6-8 points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. All travelers must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase and have used it within the last 6 months. If not, a retraining course will be required during compliance. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient visits. Delayed or incomplete documentation that impacts billing and follow-up patient care may result in cancellation of assignments. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinicians must hit weekly productivity points of 30 which equates to 40 hours per week. If the needed patient load is not met, the opportunity exists to float to another nearby clinic to pick up patients. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate, provided they meet all requirements. Confirmation of vehicle ownership, a driver's license, and auto insurance is necessary. Candidates must accept every patient on the schedule regardless of location. Declining patients may result in cancellation of assignments. Candidates should be open to on-call rotations as required. This is a home health assignment requiring responsibility for driving to patient homes daily.
