Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,394 per week in Westminster, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health or Hospice experience License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficient in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and Oasis, with recent experience within the last 6 months. Comfortable with home health assignments and responsible for transportation to patient homes and office meetings. Willingness to travel up to 75 miles for patient visits. Description: Provides coordinated and directed home nursing care according to physician's orders. Care is delivered based on established policies and procedures through the following of the nursing process. Responsible for supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses or Licensed Vocational Nurses. Includes conducting home visits and attending periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and liability insurance. The average number of patients to be seen daily ranges from 5 to 10. Points are assigned based on visit type and activities such as documentation and travel. Weekly productivity expectations require clinicians to meet a point threshold. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient appointments. Clinicians are expected to accept all patients on their schedules regardless of distance. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. If patient census is low, the clinician has the option to float to a nearby clinic. Completion of all required documentation is essential for billing and follow-up care. Travelers must possess proficiency in necessary EMR systems to ensure compliance.
