JOB DESCRIPTION INFORMATION: Job Title: Business Development Manager / Account Manager Employment Type: Permanent Work Model: Onsite JOB CONTEXT: Were on the lookout for a results-driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a mature professional with a strong background in B2B sales within the IT or software solutions space. Duties and Responsibilities: New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in both existing and untapped markets. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Lead Generation & Qualification: Proactively source and qualify leads through networking, referrals, and market research. Deal Negotiation & Closure: Lead the sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and deal closure. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Track pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and provide insights to support strategic decisions. Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform your approach. Identifying and Pursuing New Business Opportunities: Sourcing and developing new business opportunities, both within existing markets and in new territories. Building and Maintaining Client Relationships: Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term business success. Developing and Implementing Business Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to achieve company growth targets, including market analysis, identifying target markets, and developing sales plans. Generating Sales Leads: Generating and qualifying new sales leads, often through networking, prospecting, and market research. Negotiating and Closing Deals: Negotiating contracts and closing deals, working closely with sales teams to ensure successful outcomes. Forecasting Sales Revenue: Sales revenue and track performance against targets, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Staying Up-to-Date: BDMs need to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and adapt strategies. Skills Requirements: Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities. Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the IT or software industry. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Strong understanding of solution-based selling and client needs analysis. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools is a plus. 5 years sales experience in the IT department. Proven track record of closing deals. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. Package & Remuneration: Will be agreed based on qualifications, applicable experience and previous earnings.
