Job Title: Blockchain Backend Engineer Location: Brazil - 100% Remote Work Model: Flexible hours About the Opportunity: Our client is looking for a solid Blockchain Backend Engineer. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge asset tokenization and RWA (Real World Assets) registration solutions —contributing to the first scalable tokenization platform and high-impact initiatives such as Brazil’s DREX (Digital Real) pilot. You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment that values continuous learning, innovation, and individual well-being—far from traditional corporate structures. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications with a focus on security. Integrate Web3 technologies (Ethereum, Solidity, NFTs) into applications, including smart contracts and blockchain interactions. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to transform design concepts into responsive, user-friendly web applications. Develop and maintain APIs for blockchain and external service integrations. Manage databases (schema design, query optimization, data integrity). Write unit/integration tests and debug to ensure code quality. Implement best practices in security, including authentication, authorization, and data protection. Maintain technical documentation (architecture, code, processes). Work cross-functionally with blockchain developers, product managers, and designers. Required Qualifications: Strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL . Familiarity with Web3 technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Solidity, NFTs). Experience with API development and database management (SQL/NoSQL). Solid problem-solving skills and comfort working in an Agile, collaborative environment. Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus. Nice to Have – Deep Blockchain Knowledge: Experience with smart contracts (Solidity, Vyper, Rust) and gas optimization. Applied cryptography: SHA-256, Keccak-256, ECDSA , and ZKPs . Blockchain architecture: consensus protocols (PoW, PoS), P2P networking, UTXO vs. account-based models. Infrastructure: node deployment (Ethereum, Solana), Docker, Kubernetes , API integration (Web3, GraphQL). Blockchain security: audits, vulnerability analysis (Slither, Mythril), attack prevention. Interoperability: bridges, cross-chain protocols, DeFi and NFT standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155). Bonus Skills: Strategic thinking in tokenomics or game theory . Compliance knowledge, especially in CBDC or regulated environments. Experience mentoring technical teams and articulating complex ideas clearly. Relevant Tools & Frameworks: Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, Ganache, Anvil, Chainlink, The Graph, IPFS, Filecoin.
