Estimator – Multi-Family & Commercial Construction Location: Edmonton, AB Salary: $100,000 annually (depending on experience) Our client, a growing and well-respected construction company based in Edmonton, is seeking a skilled and self-sufficient Estimator to join their team. This is a key leadership role where you’ll be solely responsible for managing all estimating functions across a portfolio of multi-family residential and commercial construction projects. As the only Estimator in the company, this position offers a high level of autonomy and influence. You’ll work directly with the CEO and play a critical role in shaping project strategies, budgets, and execution plans. Key Responsibilities: Lead all estimating efforts from concept to completion across multiple projects Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for multi-family and commercial builds Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop thorough takeoffs and pricing Source, evaluate, and incorporate subcontractor and supplier quotes Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the CEO, to align estimates with company objectives Maintain and refine internal estimating tools and historical cost databases Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience as a construction Estimator, with strong knowledge of multi-family and commercial construction Comfortable working independently and owning the full estimating cycle Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Excellent communication and organizational skills In-depth knowledge of Alberta construction standards and market pricing What’s in it for You: Competitive compensation ($100K range) Benefits, bonus, work from office with parking Influence and autonomy within a growing company A collaborative, forward-thinking team culture To Apply: If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity, please reach out in confidence today.
