Service Desk Support (L2) Immediate Start Location: London, UK (Onsite, 5 days per week with on-call rota and after-hours support as needed) Contract: 6 months initially (immediate start required) Day Rate: £170-£200 inside IR35 Our client, a large global consultancy, is seeking an experienced Service Desk Support Engineer (Level 2) to join a growing team in London. This role requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues while delivering excellent customer service to end-users across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: Provide second-level support for incidents and service requests across various channels. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and performance issues (AD, Intune, Exchange, etc.). Deliver in-person support at Head Office locations and facilitate hardware requests. Maintain and administer IT systems, using remote tools and diagnostic utilities . Escalate complex incidents with thorough documentation and troubleshooting steps. Assist in managing major incidents , with a focus on clear end-user communications. Contribute to knowledge base articles and promote knowledge sharing across teams. Support training for Level 1 employees and encourage best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Requirements: Previous Service Desk L1 & L2 experience. Strong skills in Active Directory, Intune, Exchange Server , and troubleshooting network issues. Ability to travel to multiple sites . Based in London and available to start immediately . Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
