Overview Reference MB-BEHMENTOR-MK Salary £90 - £120/day Job Location - United Kingdom England South East England Buckinghamshire Milton Keynes Job Type Contract Posted 18 July 2025 Closing date 31 Aug 2025 22:59 Job Title: Behaviour Mentor Location: Milton Keynes (MK6) Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time - Temp to Perm Salary: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience) About the Role: A forward-thinking secondary school in Milton Keynes is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support students across KS3 and KS4 who present with social, emotional, or behavioural needs. The successful candidate will work 1:1 and with small groups to build trust, encourage positive behaviour, and help pupils engage in their learning. Key Responsibilities: Support students with behavioural and emotional needs Implement de-escalation strategies and restorative approaches Collaborate with teachers, SEND staff, and external professionals Monitor student progress and behaviour reports Requirements: Experience working with young people with SEMH or behavioural needs Resilient, calm under pressure, and able to build rapport quickly Background in education, youth work, or mentoring is desirable Why Join Us?
