Class 1 Yard Shunter

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a logistics company, for an experienced Class 1 & Shunter Driver to join their team in Raunds . This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for long-term work with a respected local employer. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles for on-site and local deliveries Carry out shunting duties within the yard and between nearby company sites Complete vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations Follow all company and legal safety procedures at all times Requirements: Valid Class 1 (CE) licence with up-to-date CPC and digital tacho card A good understanding of vehicle safety and yard protocols Flexible attitude and a willingness to support wider transport operations A maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements) A minimum of 2 years experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Full-time, Temp to perm On-site parking and facilities available All applicants must have 1 year UK experience valid CE / CPC / Digi Card UK & References Tom Orange only advertises genuine opportunities for and on behalf of its clients.
