Class 1 Day Driver

Odin Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and experiencedHGV Class 1 Driversto join a busy logistics operation based inNorthampton. The Role: Youll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK, ensuring a high standard of customer service and compliance with transport regulations. This role follows a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, so flexibility to work weekends is essential. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in line with driving regulations Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and delivered on time Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly Requirements: Full UK HGV Class 1 (CE) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card Good driving record with no major endorsements Experience with Longer Semi-Trailers (LSTs) is an advantage A proactive attitude and strong understanding of road safety
