Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist Profession: Electrophysiology Specialty: Technologist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: BLS and ACLS certified Certifications: RCES preferred Must-Have: - Experience in Electrophysiology Laboratory and Catheter Laboratory - Ability to scrub for device implants (pacemaker, ICD, ICM) - Ability to assist with ablation procedures - Proficient in operating radiofrequency generators - Capable of operating fluoroscopic equipment and pan tables - Ability to perform cardioversions Description: The primary duties include assisting Electrophysiology Physicians in performing Electrophysiology procedures. Duties specifically involve scrubbing for device implants and ablation procedures. The role requires proficiency in operating radiofrequency generators. The technologist must be capable of operating fluoroscopic equipment and pan tables. Performing cardioversions is also a key responsibility. Secondary duties include assisting in Cardiac Catheterization procedures as needed. The position is structured for four 10-hour days per week, with one rotating day off based on departmental needs. No on-call responsibilities are required.
