Job Description Job Description Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is looking for qualified Certified Nursing Assitants for this position working in a Psych Hospital located in San Diego, CA. Candidates will play a crucial role in providing top-notch care and support to patients with mental health conditions, working closely with the entire healthcare team to enhance patient well-being and recovery. Pay Rate: $25/hr Locations: San Diego, CA Shift: 12 hour shifts - only NOC or Weekend shifts needed Job Duties: Assist in the daily care of psychiatric patients, including personal hygiene, physical comfort, and nutrition. Monitor patient conditions by observing physical and mental health, recording and reporting significant changes. Provide support in therapeutic activities and interventions under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients, adhering to hospital protocols and procedures. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals, advocating for patient needs and preferences. Participate in team meetings, contributing insights for improving patient care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Qualification: Active CNA certification in the state of California. Previous experience in psychiatric or mental health settings is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. A compassionate approach to patient care, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, emotionally intense environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
