Job Description Job Description Sales Account Executive – Shipping Consultant Job Summary We are a leading logistics company that is looking for a Shipping Consultant to join our team. This is a salaried position with a bonus and high growth potential for someone who is a natural at selling, self-motivated, competitive, hard-working, and has a strong desire to be rewarded for high achievement. The Shipping Consultant develops a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) in open territory, all around the United States through means of cold-calling and/or outside canvassing. This position is responsible for achieving sales goals by generating UPS and LTL revenue growth through the development of new business. You will work closely with a customer service team that will help manage customer shipments, along with the daily operations, such as onboarding and servicing an accounts. This role requires consistent growth on new monthly accounts while maintaining your current book of business. ( If you have one) The Shipping Consultant position with us has been recession-proof, and our company continued to experience double-digit growth during COVID. Uncapped residual commission and bonus structure, along with a healthy base salary. Responsibilities  Grows and maintains a book of business (UPS ground, air, international, and freight)  Persistently searching and identifying new sources of business  Achieves monthly sales goals and tracks pipeline opportunities  Must find and maintain a list of leads using lead generating tools, Google, and previous contacts, etc  Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills needed to perform at Platinum-level Preferences Will consider dynamic recent college grads as well as industry-experienced reps! Base salary starts at 45/60k for entry-level representatives to make 80k in 1st year. We have had 1st-year representatives make 160k in this territory. Experienced representatives can earn more on the base salary and total OTE  Must be personable, have a good phone voice, and be able to sell our product confidently services and value proposition  Positive, energetic, enthusiastic, honest, and shows integrity  A hunter sales mentality with a positive, yet tough-skinned disposition . A well-developed pattern of leadership, achievement, and competitive skills  Previous cold-calling skills and a proven track record of success are a plus  Prior experience in Logistics (Preferred)  College Degree (Preferred)  Proficiency with computers and email communications (Required)  Willing to travel when necessary for training, corporate events, and earned Platinum club trips  Excellent Training: initial training program at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas, with Ongoing support for learning opportunities  Corporate Bonus: Annual Platinum trip to exotic locations for 2 with $750 or more in spending cash based on the level of sales performance Pay Rate/Base Salary o Compensation: Base Pay Commission Bonus Benefits o Base Salary: $45,000-$60,000 (Negotiated based on experience).
