We’re looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to supervise and maintain our advanced Knapp Sorter system. You’ll ensure the smooth operation of automated logistics systems, coordinate with vendors for complex issues, and support internal operators. This hybrid role combines automation engineering, system supervision, and technical support within a fast-paced healthcare logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise the Knapp Sorter automation system and ensure optimal performance Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance as permitted by the vendor Coordinate with automation vendors for complex repairs and upgrades Manage Hotline Automation Support and Automation Maintenance Contracts Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory Troubleshoot and diagnose automation system issues Collaborate with internal operators to resolve technical concerns Maintain accurate records of maintenance and inspections Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols Support staff on the proper use of automation equipment Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in automation systems maintenance and repair Diploma or degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar Strong knowledge of automation equipment, conveyors, and control systems Familiarity with Knapp systems or similar (Exotec, Dematic, Siemens, etc.) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills (English required) Knowledge of safety standards for industrial automation Strong organizational and supervising skills Preferred Technical Skills Industrial Automation PLC Programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) Conveyor & Material Handling Systems SCADA Systems Mechatronics & Robotics Preventive Maintenance Vendor Management Why Join Us?
