Structure and regulate H&S appropriate legal framework for a construction project Implement principles of cause-andeffect analysis and its application to hazard identification and risk management Implementation of the fundamentals of leading health and safety practices related to construction operations that are incorporated into health and safety management systems Facilitating the development of an organisational risk profile Designing health and safety management systems specific for the needs of an organisation and a specific construction project. Facilitating the formulation of organisational and project health and safety strategy. Application of the principles and concepts of human resources planning and management and its application to the health and safety management system. Concepts and principles of interpretation and the use of occupational hygiene survey results. Health and safety project communication requirements Health and safety documentation and document control Organisational and project emergency preparedness planning and implementation. The principles of developing and implementing safe working practices. The evaluation of health and safety training requirements Project health and safety compliance auditing internal, external and third party Legal compliance auditing Project health and safety reporting Analysis of audit results and trends - continual improvement Verification of implementation and close out of corrective actions Monitoring and facilitating alignment and integration of all organisational policies and procedures with the health and safety strategy You are responsible to liaise with the company's appointed Health and Safety consultant as well as the clients appointed HSE Consultants to maintain the Health, Safety & Environment on the construction sites to the accepted levels. All ordering of HSE materials and PPEs is the sole responsibility of the Health, Safety &Environmental Officer. The Health, Safety and Environmental Officer must make sure that he necessary HSE materials and required PPEs is available at all times to maintain HSE on sites Matric SACPCMP 5 years construction/ maintenance experience to include Necessary construction qualification Own vehicle Valid drivers license
