Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/18/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Pride Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist (MRI) for a contract position at a premier healthcare facility in Minneapolis, MN 55455 . The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Job Summary This role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and adherence to safety protocols. The technologist will operate MRI equipment, administer contrast agents, and communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient outcomes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Scans conducted: Abdomens-liver MRCP MRA Abdomen-pelvis-runoff Breast Neuro brain-spine MSK all body parts. Perform MRI studies according to physician orders and departmental protocols with technical accuracy and efficiency. Administer IV contrast and perform venipuncture as required. Ensure proper patient identification, documentation, and PACS data management including edits, status changes, charges, logging, and storage. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients while providing education and addressing questions. Communicate pertinent imaging data to physicians and care teams for clinical decision-making. Assist in quality assurance (QA/QI) activities and remain current with new MRI techniques and safety standards. Demonstrate patient-centered care by tailoring approaches to the developmental level and specific needs of the population served. Required Qualifications Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or completion of a hospital-based MRI training program with certificate Experience: 3–6 months of experience as an MRI Technologist Certifications & Licensure: ARRT Registered Technologist, R.T.
