Interim Financial Controller / Head of Finance | $200k–$250k | CBD-Based Family Office We’re hiring for a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role that sits between a Financial Controller and CFO — perfect for someone who's already worked in a family office environment or something similar, is hands-on and can set-up the finance function from scratch. Join a super-sized family office (with assets ranging from $100m to $300m) that’s hands-on, entrepreneurial, and deeply involved in JV structures and PE lending . This is a 6-month contract with a strong view to going permanent, potentially turning into a CFO role over time. What You’ll Be Doing: Own and set up financial controls, reporting and governance from the ground up Implement accounting processes (currently outsourced) Oversee JV investments and lending structures Work directly with the founding family and second generation Drive financial insight and returns from a diverse investment portfolio What We’re Looking For: A Financial Controller or Head of Finance ready for the next step with ambitions of being CFO Someone hands-on, self-sufficient, and strategic, you will be a one-person band for the initial stage and until the function is set up Experience building out reporting frameworks and financial infrastructure from the ground up Strong commercial acumen and an ability to operate solo in a fast-moving environment Experience in a family office highly regarded Commercial acumen to drive profitability important The Offer: $200k–$250k inclusive of Super (depending on experience) 6-month contract with strong potential to go permanent Central CBD location A unique chance to build something meaningful in a non-corporate, high-value environment Interested or know someone who fits the bill?
