As the company continues to grow, FundyPros is seeking a Director of Project Management to lead its Project Management Office (PMO), driving performance across a portfolio of construction projects. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced construction professional who thrives on building systems, empowering people, and delivering complex projects on time and on budget. About the Role The Director of Project Management is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of FundyPros’ PMO—developing project strategies, standardizing processes, and overseeing the successful execution of construction projects across the region. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with deep industry knowledge and a passion for operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control FundyPros’ full portfolio of construction projects (budget, scope, schedule) Oversee contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications and agreements Resolve disputes with contractors and consultants Develop project management strategies aligned with organizational goals Create consistent standards and tools to improve planning, execution, and reporting Establish performance targets and continuous improvement initiatives Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Project Managers Participate in hiring, training, and performance management Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery What You Bring 5 years of experience in project or construction management Strong knowledge of the drywall or construction industries Proven ability to lead and grow high-performing project teams Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and contract compliance Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management software Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Working Conditions This role includes a mix of office and on-site responsibilities. The Director of Project Management must be comfortable working in varied environments, including active construction sites where safety protocols and PPE are essential.
