Senior Training & Competence Supervisor

Kind Consultancy is working with a well-established and respected mortgage brokerage which is currently seeking a Senior Training & Competence Supervisor to join them in a full-time, permanent role with a hybrid work model based out of their Hampshire office requiring 1 in-office day per week, paying £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience. As the Senior Training & Competence Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the application of their T&C scheme, with key responsibilities including: Maintaining and embedding the T&C scheme, taking responsibility for ensuring that all aspects of the scheme are adhered to Conducting file reviews and observations across all product areas, determining the suitability of the advice given, providing constructive feedback and highlighting areas for development Overseeing the training and competence of the firms ARs, ensuring adherence to the FCAs enhanced AR Regime Maintaining and updating the AR Oversight Policy Identifying risks associated with AR oversight and flag these to the Compliance Manager Assisting with the compliance elements of AR onboarding and initial risk assessments when required Acting as as the referral point for advisers on complex files or sensitive issues Identifying common trends, themes, and risks across the business in terms of development areas or knowledge gaps through rout cause analysis. Developing, facilitating and delivering T&C training for advisers. Developing strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders across the business and any relevant third parties Continuously proactively identifying opportunities to develop the application of the T&C scheme including annual policy reviews and policy updates. Providing support to T&C supervisors and deliver training within the team Overseeing all aspects of T&C for each adviser through weekly reviews of competency Our ideal candidate for the Senior Training & Competence Supervisor Has 3 years of experience of Training & Competence work within a regulated Financial Services environment Holds a relevant industry qualifications (e.g. CeMAP, J07) Demonstrates strong knowledge of FCA regulations and the UK regulatory environment Displays excellent IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Has consistently excellent attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills Has strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with the ability to challenge constructively and with confidence Holds Competent Supervisor status Has excellent planning and organisational skills Is an effective communicator, both written and verbal If you're interested in the Senior Training & Competence Supervisor opportunity, you're based in or can commute to Hampshire, and you have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience, please apply with an updated CV today.
