Designer - AutoCAD, Revit

Were working with an innovative design team specialising in modern, sustainable construction methods. With over 2 decades of experience and a close-knit, collaborative culture, youll be joining a growing business with a long history of innovation. This role is based just outside of Stroud 3 days a week with ample parking on-site. What youll be doing Youll be part of a design team that takes projects from architectural drawings to factory-ready detail and site delivery. This is a fast-moving, collaborative role with the chance to work on a wide range of projects from university blocks to major residential builds alongside architects, engineers, manufacturers, and site teams. Produce technical drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD & Revit. Create general arrangement drawings, material schedules, and fabrication documentation for manufacturing and installation. Liaise with factory, site teams, contractors, and engineers to resolve design challenges and keep production on track. Attend site visits and inspections (approx. once per month), helping to produce snagging lists and learn from live builds. Order materials. Collaborate closely with your design peers and seniors, contributing ideas and learning from an experienced team. What experience youll need to apply Experienced in AutoCAD and Revit. Able to produce accurate technical drawings and schedules for use in manufacturing or construction. Comfortable liaising with multidisciplinary teams and taking ownership of your workload and deadlines. Eager to learn and grow, with a hands-on mindset and collaborative spirit. Must be open to occasional travel for site visits Experience in hot-rolled steel or timber framing would be a great foundation.
