Maintenance Electrician Cauldon, Stoke on Trent Starting Salary: £52,000p/a (£55,500after training) Shift Rota: 37.5 average week rotating 12 Hour Days and Nights 8 Hour days Benefits : Payrise to £55,500 first 6-12 months once training is completed, 37.5 average hour working week, 25 shifts Annual Leave, 12% Pension, 90% Sick Pay for up to 6 months, training courses, High likelihood of promotions, 1 hour lunch break, AggregateIndustries, Employee rewards scheme, Retail discounts, childcare vouchers and company provided tools & uniform. This site in Cauldon is responsible for producing Cement and Lime products, sold to building merchants such as EH Smiths, Wicks and B&Q. With a welcoming and highly experienced engineering department of over 60 qualified people, they offer fantastic training,high job security and an enjoyable working environment. Machinery List : Rolling Mill, Kilns, Conveyors, Robots (Fanuc, ABB & Cougar), Mixing tanks, Holding Hoppers, Drying Systems, Conveyors, Pumps, Weighing systems, Vision Inspection, Bagging machines, Shrink Wrappers and Palletisers. The Role: Maintenance Electrician PLC's: Siemens, Allen Bradley & Mitsubishi - Maintenance and installation on a wide range of LV/HV equipment. - Fault finding using PLC's, Multi-Meters and at times Schematic drawings. - Resolving breakdowns, fixing machinery and replacing electrical components. - PPM Maintenance, carrying out routine inspections. Entry requirements: Qualifications: City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 qualification in ElectricalEngineering, Maintenance or Installation, preferably through a recognised apprenticeship. Experience: 5 years minimum experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer ideally within the Heavy industry (Aggregates, Quarrying, Recycling) though not essential.
