Pavilion ICU (more general Med/Surg) 10 beds BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; CCRN preferred 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 No techs, but have patient care support staff/unit clerk/secretary that can set up rooms, answer phones, help answer call lights, etc… Every other weekend; however it could be more based on the needs of the unit, however this would be rare if it was more that every other… 2 out 3 for major holidays (winter holidays) other holidays are as needed & would fall into perm staff rotation Navy blue. If you wear a scrub jacket it also must be navy. If you wear an undershirt underneath your scrub top it must be navy, white, or black. Phillips central monitors in the nurse station & also hard wired in each room Draeger, Hamilton G5 & Galileo. Transport vent is LVT Intensivist in house 7a-5p then on-call after hours 12's: 7 - 7:30. This unit does not do self scheduling. Time off requests need to be requested prior to the contract. Requests made after the assignment has started will need to be approved by the manager when they make the schedule. Block scheduling is not guaranteed, but if it works with schedule they will allow it. Travelers are the 1st to float. Only floating would be to the other ICUs or to ER for inpatient ICU holds 1 shift with a preceptor A lot of OB, oncology & general MedSurg.
