SEND EYFS Teaching Assistant - Shoreham Location: Shoreham Hours: Full time (Monday - Friday) Start Date: September 2025 We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a reception-aged child with Cerebral Palsy who requires personal care. This is a rewarding opportunity to be a key figure in a child's early development journey, supporting both their learning and wellbeing. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support for a child with complex learning and medical needs Assist with personal care, including toileting and hygiene routines, with dignity and respect Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver a tailored learning plan Support the child in accessing learning activities, communication systems, and sensory-based tasks Contribute to a safe, positive and stimulating EYFS environment Communicate effectively with parents/carers and the wider support team Requirements Has experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in an Early Years setting Is confident with administering providing personal care Has excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach Can work collaboratively as part of a supportive team Holds an appropriate TA qualification or relevant childcare/SEN experience What we offer We are Engage Education, the most trusted education recruitment agency, with professional development and support at our core.
