Requirements: BSc or BTech in Civil Engineering 5 or more years experience in infrastructure development and township developments Experience working for the consulting engineering sector Project types include: Governmental Services Upgrades (Roads, stormwater, sewer and water, etc) Commercial Retail Commercial Industrial Commercial offices Residential (both commercial and government clients) Duties and Responsibilities include: Preliminary and detailed design of Civil Engineering Services Roads Stormwater Water Sewer Client Liaison for both commercial or governmental clients and projects Appointment, scope and professional fees negotiations Design conceptualisation and development Cost and progress reporting Close out Invoicing and payment Liaison with professional team Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Electrical Engineer, Environmental, Health and Safety, etc Design conceptualisation Design development Local Authority Liaison Report review Civil Engineering Scheme Reports Traffic Reports Stormwater Management Report Floodline reports Project Procurement Compilation of Tender Drawings Generation of Bills of Quantities Compilation of Tender Documentation Advertising of tenders and tender process Tender adjudication Manage appointment of Contractor by Client Project implementation and Contract Administration Run site meetings and prepare minutes Deal with contractual matters Control costs Manage scope Manage quality Effective correspondence and record keeping
