Asset Data Officer

I am seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Data Officer to join my clients team on a 6-month contract. This role sits within their Asset Management function and focuses on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data within their stock condition database. It is ideal for someone with strong spreadsheet skills, a logical mindset, and a keen eye for detail. Client Details This public sector organisation is a medium-sized entity based in Hertfordshire. It is dedicated to serving the local community by delivering essential services. Description Review, cleanse, and update data within the stock condition database Perform regular data checks to ensure accuracy and consistency Input and manage asset data to support compliance, planning, and reporting activities Generate reports and analyse data trends to support decision-making Liaise with internal teams to validate and gather information where necessary Assist in improving data processes and suggesting system improvements Profile Proven experience working with spreadsheets (particularly Microsoft Excel) Strong data accuracy and attention to detail Logical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively Confident working with databases and handling large data sets Experience using MRI Asset or similar Asset Management systems Knowledge of social housing or property asset management Understanding of stock condition data and compliance Job Offer A competitive daily rateof circa £350-400 per day (Umbrella Rate) Full time, hybrid role - 1 day per week in Hemel Hempstead Office Be part of a friendly and supportive team Make a tangible impact by improving data that informs key asset decisions Gain valuable experience in the social housing and asset management sector
