Job Description

Supply Chain / Projects Engineer Job Purpose.- Support new launches at Tenneco Tepotzotlan assuring the supply chain material for new projects to meet the customer requirements. The Engineer will be responsible to manage all raw material required for new launches as well as to establish all required controls to assure the system is updated based on the Bill Of Material and usages to assure no missing components during the launching process. The Engineer will be the leader to set up in our system also all demand through EDI from our customer to deploy all the requirements to the production line based on the customer requirements to meet dates and also have a healthy system MRP. Responsaiblities .- Set up all SAP System based on the Bill Of Materials Confirm usages and also releases to each supplier to assure the availability of the corresponding raw material for each new project. Set up all EDI with customer to assure we can receive order from them and also to be able to make a correct invoicing Highlight/ Red flag to SU on Supply plan gaps, shipping document delays which can impact order/delivery service level KPI’s. Accountable for resolving issues like Supply delays, document errors and shortage/damage claims. MIS Reporting on monthly and quarterly view of Open orders, Supply plan, Sales, Ambition and Supply Chain Service rate Coordinate with UI Logistics & Global Freight procurement team for New Lanes creation. Profile.- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering ). 3 years of experience in Supply Chain (Customer service, planning, procurement or Logistics) or in Engineering leading new projects. Strong command of written and spoken English.
