Senior Commercial Real Estate Counsel

We’re working with an established and forward-thinking international group headquartered in Oxford, with a growing global footprint. The business is at the forefront of enabling electrification and building smarter, more sustainable urban environments through innovation in energy, infrastructure, and property. As Senior Commercial Counsel , you’ll report to the Head of Legal and play a key senior role across the group’s diverse businesses. This is a broad and high-impact position, ideal for someone who enjoys advising on complex, commercial matters while being close to business operations. The role includes: Providing legal input into residential property development projects (excluding conveyancing). Advising on commercial, corporate, M&A, IP, IT, and disputes. Supporting group-wide sales and procurement contracts. Managing external counsel and acting as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders. Ideally advising on regulatory matters such as data privacy and international trade. What we’re looking for: UK or common law qualified with 8–10 PQE, including in-house experience Strong background in real estate law and commercial contracts Proven ability to work independently across a varied and fast-paced legal workload. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience within a complex industrial or technical business environment is a plus.
