Job Description
Level Mid- to Senior-Level Physician (Licensed MD or equivalent) Language Requirement Fluent in English or native proficiency. Spanish is strongly preferred for cross-border patient coordination. Experience Requirement Minimum 3–5 years of direct clinical experience, including at least 2 years in regenerative medicine and/or hair restoration. Proven track record in patient eligibility screening, risk assessment, and pre-procedure counseling. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Triage Physician to join our leading cross-border clinic, which specializes in regenerative medicine and hair restoration. As the first medical point of contact for patients, you will be pivotal in evaluating eligibility, ensuring patient safety, and setting realistic expectations for treatment outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with an international patient base, surgical teams, and cross-border logistics staff to prepare patients for transformative medical interventions. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations (in-person and virtual), including medical history, lab review, imaging, and photographic assessments. Determine procedural candidacy based on clinical protocols, safety guidelines, and outcome potential. Identify contraindications, comorbidities, and risk factors that may impact treatment success. Please educate patients with clear, empathetic communication about treatment options, timelines, and preparation requirements. Prioritize cases according to urgency, complexity, and clinic capacity. Document all assessments, triage outcomes, and recommendations within the clinic’s CRM/EMR system. Could you collaborate closely with procedural teams to align triage decisions with treatment plans? Coordinate with medical travel concierge teams for cross-border cases. Participate in ongoing medical education in regenerative medicine and hair sciences. Qualifications MD, DO, or equivalent degree with an active medical license in the relevant jurisdiction. Advanced knowledge of regenerative medicine (stem cells, PRP, exosomes) and hair restoration techniques (FUE, FUT, scalp health). Strong ability to interpret diagnostic tests relevant to regenerative and hair restoration procedures. Proficiency in CRM/EMR platforms for patient documentation. Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills. Ability to thrive in a cross-cultural, bilingual (English required, Spanish preferred) environment. Technical & Clinical Skills Specialise in in-person and telemedicine assessments, including medical history reviews, imaging, lab work, and photographs. Ability to differentiate candidates from non-candidates based on safety, efficacy, and expected outcomes. Skilled in ordering, interpreting, and explaining diagnostic tests (CBC, metabolic panels, hormonal profiles, imaging). Knowledge of adjunct therapies to support treatment outcomes. Familiarity with medical devices, imaging tools, and digital triage and pre-procedure evaluation platforms. Patient Interaction & Triage Duties Serve as the initial medical point of contact, addressing concerns, setting expectations, and explaining procedure options. Collect and verify complete patient histories and current medications. Screen for medical contraindications and risk factors. Collaborate with surgical teams to integrate triage outcomes into treatment plans. Could you provide pre-treatment counseling and coordinate preparatory steps before scheduling? Please communicate triage decisions quickly to patient coordinators for booking and follow-up. Compliance & Administrative Requirements Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Follow all clinic and local regulatory protocols for regenerative medicine and hair restoration. Please make sure informed consent is obtained according to legal and clinical standards. Maintain active licensure and CME credits relevant to the field. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $2,000–USD 3,000/month, based on experience. Performance incentives: Commission structure with earning potential of $5,000–USD 10,000/month. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Flexibility is required based on patient needs. Some Saturdays may require extended hours; reciprocal flexibility is provided to ensure work-life balance. Occasional travel for training, conferences, or patient care coordination may be required.
