Team Overview: Join Impinj as a Procurement Specialist and be part of a world-class team that excels in developing pioneering solutions! As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain, ensuring that we maintain outstanding standards and stay ahead in the competitive market. What you will do: Support the development and implementation of our long-term sourcing strategy with contract manufacturing partners Supervise developments and identify trends within the supply base to ensure Impinj is prepared to react appropriately Performing sophisticated cost modeling and risk sensitivity analysis for identifying costs related to our contractors and suppliers Investigate and resolve problems associated with invoices and purchase orders working with accounting, vendors, and receiving departments as needed Issue timely purchase orders in response to product requirements established by Product demand and Sales team Build trust by maintaining regular contact with internal and external cross-functional partners and working-project groups to recognize developments (market, demand etc.) and to exert the appropriate influence on decisions and processes Provide data, analytics, and supplier spend metrics for decision support in all stages of the company's Strategic Sourcing process Drives supply base rationalization in partnership with engineering teams What you will bring: 2-4 years of Sourcing experience or equivalent education in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Operations or similar degree Desire to learn and become experienced in Microsoft Excel, D365, PowerBI and MRP systems Outstanding attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in procurement activitie Strong negotiation skills and experience in effectively managing vendor relations and securing good terms Teamwork skills to work seamlessly with diverse teams and influence key collaborators Compensation & Benefits: The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work. The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $65,000 - $85,000 . Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
