Regional Sales & Distribution Manager — Heavy Machinery

About the Role Operate Talent is hiring an experienced, results-driven Regional Sales & Distribution Manager to lead sales and channel growth for heavy machinery, especially digging/excavation equipment, across the Middle East. You’ll build market presence, deepen key accounts, and drive revenue with a structured, data-led approach. Key Responsibilities Regional Strategy: Build and execute market-specific sales plans to expand distribution. Client Relationships: Develop partnerships with decision-makers in construction, mining, and infrastructure. Business Development: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure. Market Intelligence: Track competitors/trends and refine the go-to-market plan. Account Management: Grow key accounts; ensure service quality and post-sale support. Cross-Functional: Partner with marketing, technical support, and product teams. Reporting: Provide forecasts and insight to leadership. Cultural Insight: Apply strong understanding of regional business practices to build long-term trust. Ideal Candidate 3 years in sales, business development, or account management in heavy machinery (or closely related). Proven success in selling digging/excavation equipment or similar capital equipment. Deep knowledge of Middle East markets and competitive landscape. Established network across construction/mining/infrastructure sectors. Fluency in Arabic (spoken & written) required; additional languages a plus. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Comfortable working independently in a remote setup; frequent regional travel.
