What You’ll Be Doing: Leading family law cases from start to finish —no second chair here! Handling divorce, will contests, prenuptial agreements, mediation, paternity, child custody, alimony, and property division with precision. Advocating fiercely in cases involving child abuse, domestic violence, hidden assets, and complex custody disputes. Bringing strategic thinking and compassion to every case you touch. You must have a Texas bar license in good standing and five years' experience in Texas family law. We need a battle-ready litigator who can hit the ground running! It is also not a remote position. Compensation: $94,000 yearly bonuses Responsibilities: Serve people with compassion and always put the well-being of children first Strictly observe deadlines and billable hour requirements Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed Represent clients in court proceedings as first chair when needed Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up-to-date Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process Work as a Team for the Growth of the Law Firm Qualifications: Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants Must be licensed to practice law in good standing in Texas for at least 5 years Must have prior litigation experience and success Must have high moral and ethical standards Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Texas family law litigation role Must have a passionate desire to help families in child custody fights and domestic violence cases Must maintain a positive attitude even under stress Must be a true team player, willing to pitch in and contribute wherever needed Must be willing to participate in community activities and social media videos with the firm About Company At South TX Family Law Group , we don’t just practice law—we change lives .
