Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/25/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) 938552 St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center Phoenix, AZ, 85013-4409 Job & Shift Unit IR Tech Unit Type IR (Interventional Radiology) Division Allied Care Setting Acute Shift Length 10 Guaranteed Hours 40 hours per week Years of Experience 2 Years License to Submit Yes, willing to wait BSN Required No Orientation Hours 12 Hours Required Certifications BLS, Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification Shift Notes 10 hour days, 0730-1800, 4 days/week, days off varies Additional Details Trauma Level 1 Charting System Cerner Unit Notes Manager interviews, please make sure candidate is presclosed on pay and location LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 50 mile radius, facility checks DL for perm address, no local rates Unit: Interventional Radiology Rooms: 2- general IR suites, 1 Spine IR room and 2 neuro endo suites Certs Required: ARRT (R), Az license MRTBE-CRT VI certificate is a plus but not required Scrub Experience Preferred EMR: Cerner, DR (PACS) Cases per Day: 5-10 Weekends: Yes possibly some Saturday’s Shifts: Day shifts 8 hours M-F (830a-5p or 9a-530p) Call Requirement: None Floating: None outside of Radiology Floor Specific Orientation: Philips Allera, Medrad injector Common cases/Types of Patients: Procedures- GI/GJ tubes, Ports, angio’s, Lumbar punctures, myelograms, Neph tubes, stents, ivc filters, blood patch Also neuro experience if possible but not required endovascular procedures, embolization’s, Stents, stroke treatment – if only candidate has only or mostly neuro that is also acceptable depending on what type of cases Sedation cases have 2 RN’s, RT scrubs with MD.
