About the job OW a controlled 50/50 joint venture between EDP and Engie is looking for a proactive and analytical CMMS Engineer . GENERAL DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Head of O&M Excellence and Processes Delivery the CMMS Engineer is responsible for leading the implementation of the CMMS and propose and implement best digital solutions towards a maintenance optimization. The CMMS Engineer will work closely to Site O&M Managers and the Corporate O&M and Asset Management Team. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES STRATEGY • Define long term digital vision on CMMS at OW for operating sites according to project size and O&M models in place (today and in the future) • Steer the selected new functional requirements with the software developer (Shoreline Execution). Communicate and coordinate with the requester (customer) as appropriate. • Identify and propose best digital and Intelligent solutions around Shoreline Execution (PTW, Marine Coordination, OWPEX, P3MS, HSE). Smart solutions implementation. • In collaboration with O&M Process Engineer define best CMMS requirements to keep highest data quality. Perform CMMS audits and maintain system metrics. • Define new contractual requirements ensuring project lifecycle data is keep and updated in OW CMMS. Integrate data from systems of third party service suppliers or interlink different systems as appropriate. • In collaboration with Asset Integrity team, drive initiatives to enhance MTBF and reduce MTTR. • Identify opportunities for maintenance performance optimization that can allow for additional revenue. Act as focal point for innovation initiatives in relation to data analytics. • Steer AI solutions to improve. MAINTENANCE PERFORMANCE • Oversight Wind Farms maintenance plans which are created in the CMMS by O&M teams. Determine work plans based upon site-wide priority, available workforce, and close communication with O&M Supervisors. Review plans and schedules with O&M supervisors. • Oversight work order execution for corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance work. Suggest new tools / systems for maintenance management optimization. • Perform analysis of completed work. Gather and prioritize proposals for system improvements with system provider and O&M Process and Procedures Engineer. • Extract value from the recorded data. • Work closely with O&M regional teams to detect CMMS improvements in system functionalities and usage level. Select and prioritize further system enhancements and new tools. ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) is preferred. • Proven experience in CMMS tools and processes is mandatory, including software implementation either in corporate or academical environments. • Experience in wind or other renewable energies will be valued. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES: Demonstrable knowledge in the following areas is required: • CMMS Experience. • Experience in maintenance performance measurements. • Good knowledge in O&M Planning tools. • Good applied analytical skills. Understanding the fundamentals of multivariable calculus to develop maintenance performance metrics. • Excellent communication skills and creating and presenting data stories decision-making. • Tackle challenging project tasks demonstrating ownership and responsibility. Knowledge in any of the following areas is a plus: • Renewable Energy. • Wind turbines. • Artificial Intelligence. LANGUAGES The company has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Proficiency in other languages will be valued. SKILLS • Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills. • Flexibility to work towards objectives. • Keen on taking new responsibilities, working as a team, and sharing knowledge. • Ability to analyse problems and propose solutions. • Ability to deliver technical explanations adapted to the target audience. OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Travel to project and OEM sites may be required.
