Network Engineer III (Network Technical Manager) Washington, D.C. or Northern VA (with travel, if applicable) Full-Time | Hybrid/Remote Eligible | Contingent Upon Contract Award Join Synertex LLC and bring your expertise to a mission that matters. RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee daily operations of enterprise-level IT systems including networks, servers, virtualized infrastructure, and databases * Lead the integration and performance of the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) * Design and manage operational procedures to ensure the reliability and scalability of IT services * Direct complex IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects with cross-functional teams * Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery protocols * Ensure compliance with industry regulations, government standards, and security frameworks * Collaborate with FEMA stakeholders to align IT operations with strategic goals * Provide technical leadership and guidance on continuous improvement initiatives REQUIREMENTS * 8 years of experience managing enterprise-level IT operations and infrastructure * CISSP, CCNP or CCNA, and Professional Cloud Solutions Architect certifications * Certification or proven experience in Multi-Cloud Environments (AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure) * Experience leading NOC/SOC functions and ensuring operational excellence * Strong knowledge of virtualization, enterprise networking, and ITIL-based service delivery * Experience managing cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure at scale * Proven ability to manage teams and complex technical projects * Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills * Must obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance prior to start PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Prior experience supporting FEMA or other DHS components * Familiarity with federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53) * Experience with DevSecOps or cloud-native automation tools * Background in IT infrastructure optimization, disaster recovery planning, and risk assessments Join a mission-driven team advancing national emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
