Pay Information $1,981 per week About The Position Job Title: Neuro ICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Epic experience required Large facility experience required Prior neuro experience needed Description: The position is for a Neuro ICU registered nurse. This role requires working three 12-hour night shifts. The hours for the shifts are from 18:45 to 07:15. The patient population includes those with stroke, neurosurgery, and neuro-specific diagnoses and complications. Experience with complex spine patients is necessary. Special procedures include managing external ventricular drains (EVDs) and therapeutic thermoregulation. Skills required include accessing ports, arterial line management, and care of ventilated patients. Additional competencies include central line management, continuous IV sedation, and management of dysrhythmias. The role involves high acuity patient care and teamwork with interdisciplinary support services.
